End 2025, begin 2026 we will organise a new cycling adventure in Patagonia from Puerto Montt along the spectacular Carretera Austral to El Calafate and vice versa.
A few days of adventurous hiking is included because south of Villa O’Higgins there is no possibility to get our Hilux and trailer along. You surely don’t want to miss the Southern Patagonian Ice Field and Mount Fitz Roy (Cerro Chalten) in the south.
Perfect for a sabbatical or long term training goal!
EBC Patagonia will be developed together with 6 participants. Like the Arctic Edition in Norway we will provide specially prepared Santos gravel bikes on the start location. We will provide a special bike fitting program.

We will take our Toyota Hilux and trailer to Patagonia to support you in this wild and adventurous environment. You will sleep in a comfortable villa or in a professional solo expedition tent. It’s up to you! Breakfast and dinner is included of course. We will also provide professional sports nutrition (drinks, bars etc.) to take with you on the road.
Expect to be away from home for around 5 weeks. 4 weeks of cycling, 7 resting days en 4 hiking days.
You will ride our Santos gravel bikes with Gates belt and Rohloff speed hub. Tough and specially prepared for you and the demanding gravel roads.
Around 50 percent of the roads will be gravel, so we will use 50-64 mm wide tires.
On gravel roads your speed will go down at least 20%. We also can expect heavy winds and rain, but we will always be around to help you out. Training for at least 6 months is absolutely necessary!
